A sweet offer of daylight’s grace

A temporary shuddering off of night’s cloak

A firm dismissal of dawn’s misty smoke

A wonderful offering of a warm brightness

Leading me forward with a sweet lightness

Until dusk sneaks in night’s darkness once again

Where blackness hides where you’ve been
