Something to Live For

I hear music in anything and everything around me

Bees buzzing, children laughing and the rolling sea

The wind rustling through the trees and grass

Hearts pounding and rain tapping on panes of glass

Clocks ticking, lips touching and tiny baby sighs

A mother hearing the first time her newborn cries

Life is filled with music, if we only take the time to hear

It will bring us hope, something to live for and cheer
