I Bow My Head
Regina Puckett
Hateful words fill the air like broken shards
Slashing and slicing through all of my guards
Each word punctures a hole into my heart
Slowly but surely tearing my world apart
But instead of exposing these wounds to you
I bow my head and vow to struggle through
Never too many poems about intestinal fortitude and inner strength. Well done.
